Limited to, and required of, senior sociology majors. The course meets in a seminar format with all available sociology faculty. Students will demonstrate advanced understanding and application of the sociology major learning goals through discussions of recent research in the field. Students will also make significant progress towards the writing of their thesis and preparation for their oral defense. Must be taken the last fall semester in which the student is in residence. Prerequisite: Sociology 117. Pre- or corequisites: Sociology 207 and 367.
