Course Description

The relationships of organisms to one another and to the abiotic environment. We will learn ecological concepts and principles important to populations, evolution, inter-specific interactions, communities, landscapes, energy flow, nutrient cycles, and conservation. Three one-hour lectures per week with optional lab (287). Fulfills the Ecology/Evolution major requirement. Prerequisites: Biology 111, 112.
