This course will help you build a stronger foundational understanding of statistics and increase your confidence in working with data. This will primarily be accomplished through exploratory data analysis and visualization. You will explore diverse datasets, spanning social science research to real-world applications in marketing and non-profit organizations, and learn technologies such as Excel, R, and Tableau to present findings in a compelling and truthful way. Most of the coursework will come through homework assignments and projects. This course is intended for students who have familiarity with basic statistics; no background in computer programming is expected.
