This course offers an intensive exploration of select approaches to conducting scholarly research in the field of rhetoric. Course offerings will encompass a variety of rhetorical methods, including but not limited to community-based research, archival research, close textual analysis, memory studies, and ideological criticism. Students will read texts that exemplify the selected rhetorical method and hone their skills as critics through various practicum over the course of the semester.
